HA NOI - MAI CHAU - PU LUONG TREKKING - NINH BINH - LAN HA

TRIP TO PU LUONG NATURE RESERVE (B, L D)

Take a morning drive from Ha Noi to Pu Luong  Nature Reserve by road via a breathtaking mountain pass giving you a panoramic view of the whole valley. You arrive at your accommodation in time for a delicious lunch, followed by free time to explore the beautiful retreat, with its captivating panoramic views and tranquil setting.

In the afternoon, transfer to a suspension bridge over the Cham River, where you begin your walk in search of stunning water wheels. Get up close to each wheel and discover how water is moved from river to handmade bamboo aqueducts via simple constructions of all sizes.

Arriving at a local fisherman’s house, you have a short rest to gear up for the bamboo river rafting with Dinh and his team. Float along the calm river and enjoy the views, in between learning how to paddle and steer your handcrafted rafts.

Arriving at scenic Tan Lap bridge, you disembark to be transferred back to Pu Luong Retreat for dinner.

Overnight on House on Stilt.

HALF DAY TREKKING TO VISIT UOI-LAN VILLAGES AND TRANSFER TO MAI CHAU (B, L)

This is a common and easy walk around the most beautiful valley of rice terraces in front of the Retreat. We start to descend into the beautiful valley facing the Retreat where you walk around tumbling rice terraces. Then we will walk through small paths shrouded in vegetation to slowly reveal a picturesque Uoi village sitting at the base of a towering mountain. Your camera will not be able to sit still when you see the panorama view of the village from above.

Continue walk down hill to Uoi village then on to Lan village. Walk through the rice paddies again to get back to the main road to the car pick-up point.

In the afternoon, enjoy the riding back to Mai Chau by taking road through the beautiful rural villages.

Free at leisure to explore Mai Chau on you own and overnight in traditional stilt house.

VISIT TRANG AN ECOTOURISM (B)

After breakfast, enjoy a morning transfer to Ninh Binh. Upon arrival, get into a rowing boat to explore the picturesque waterways in Trang An ecological site. Forested limestone mounts contrasting in emerald water, caves, lowland and rivers create a mysterious fairytale-like scene. We then visit a network of 11 caves with beautiful stalactites of all shapes and colors. Finish the boat trip, transfer to your hotel for check in.

Overnight in Ninh Binh.

HA LONG BAY – LAN HA BAY (B, L, D)

Leave your hotel in Ninh Binh for driving to Halong bay. Arrive in Halong around noon, we join our group and board a deluxe junk for a wonderful cruise on the emerald green waters of Halong Bay & Lan Ha bay among the 3,000 spectacular limestone islands with a fabulous seafood lunch served on board. Then it is your pleasure time for swimming and sunbathing. In the evening, you will have dinner on board whistle watching sunset.

Tonight, you will experience memorable overnight on board.

CONTINUE CRUISE AND DRIVE BACK HA NOI (BRUNCH)

Continuing to visit the Bay and brunch is served on board. Arrive at the boat docking station around 11:00AM.

Upon arrive Hanoi, take a walking tour through the Old Quarter to enjoy the bustling local life, then cap off the day with a visit to the local market.
