HA NOI - SAPA - HA LONG (CRUISE) - NINH BINH

FULL DAY TO VISIT CHARMING HANOI (B)

Breakfast at hotel, tour guide and driver pick you up at hotel then drive to Bat Trang ceramic village (it's only 13km far from Hanoi centre). When arrival we will walk around the village to see the artisans at work and you have chance to witness the process of molding and carving clay pots, dishes... Come here you also can create the pottery products by yourself. Then drive back Ha Noi.

In the afternoon, we will visit Vietnam Ethnology museum after lunch- the interesting museum in Hanoi where shows 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. It is the best way you can learn about Vietnam. Our trip continues with the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam. Then we transfer to hotel fore rest before enjoy water puppet show- a uniquely northern Vietnamese art form depicting scenes of rural life and episodes of national history.

TRIP TO SAPA (B)

After breakfast at your hotel, proceed to transfer to Lao Cai and then transfer directly to Sapa by bus. Check in hotel upon arrival.

Then walk to visit Sapa town including old Church and the local market.

TREK UP HAM RONG (DRAGON’S JAW MOUNTAIN AND CABLE CAR TO FANSIPAN (INDOCHINA ROOF) (B)

After breakfast at hotel, you will begin the trek up Ham Rong (Dragon’s Jaw) Mountain.

Ham Rong Botanical Garden: don't miss the lovely botanical gardens above the main square in town with their spectacular viewpoint from the top. There are fabulous views of the town and the wider landscape as well as tended gardens to visit. This park is essentially a long cobblestone walkway to the top of Ham Rong Mountain. It's a strenuous climb, but the panoramic vista at the top is well worth tackling all those stairs. Along the way, there are countless potted orchids, beautiful landscaped gardens and a few really tacky statues of cartoon characters like Scooby Doo and Mickey Mouse. One word of caution, the stone stairs could be treacherous on a rainy or misty day.

In the afternoon, transfer to Fansipan Cable Station for an amazing trip to reach the Indochina Roof, 3143m above the sea level: Starting by cable car and step up to the Peak, enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful landscapes from the high.

Return to the Station and transfer to your hotel in Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.

VISIT ETHINIC VILLAGE, DRIVE BACK HA NOI (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Then start tour in Sa Pa to visit Ta Van or Lao Chai village of the Black H'mong and the Day people where you can enjoy fresh air, amazing scenery of the imposing mountain range, trek down world's most beautiful terraced rice fields, visit some local family on the way and learn unique culture and life of these ethnic groups. After that, drive back Hanoi. Arrival in late afternoon, check in your hotel.

HA LONG BAY – WORLD HERITAGE (B, L, D)

Leave your hotel in Ha Noi for driving to Halong. Arrive in Halong around noon, we join our group and board a deluxe junk for a wonderful cruise on the emerald green waters of Halong Bay among the 3,000 spectacular limestone islands with a fabulous seafood lunch served on board. Then it is your pleasure time for swimming and sunbathing. In the evening, you will have dinner on board whistle watching sunset.

Tonight, you will experience memorable overnight on board.

CONTINUE CRUISE AND DRIVE TO NINH BINH (BRUNCH)

Continuing to visit the Bay and brunch is served on board. Arrive at the boat docking station around 11:00AM. Transfer to Ninh Binh. Upon arrival, check in your hotel and overnight in Ninh Binh.

BOAT TRIP TO VISIT TRANG AN ECOTOURISM & BAI DINH PAGODA. DRIVE BACK HA NOI (B)

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to the boat pier upon arrival and get into a rowing boat to explore the picturesque waterways in Trang An ecological site. Forested limestone mounts contrasting in emerald water, caves, lowland and rivers create a mysterious fairytale-like scene. We then visit a network of 11 caves with beautiful stalactites of all shapes and colors. Finish the boat trip, we move to Bai Dinh Pagoda – the pagoda with many records in Vietnam. This pagoda has the biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam (10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight) and also contains 500 La Han statue.

Get back in your vehicle and drive back to Hanoi in the afternoon.

Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure or shopping until transfer to the airport for your flight.
